Washing instructions for lace tank top extender - While you can machine wash and dry these beautiful lace bottom tops, we find the best way to save its' longevity, is to hand wash, and avoid the dryer.  Hang it up to dry.  If you are in a rush, you can gentle cycle machine wash it and hang to dry.

The fabric content of our Lace Extender Tank Tops  is a cotton/poly blend which allows the top to hold its' shape and not shrink.

Lace can be delicate, particularly if it is antique or hand done lace .  Our lace on the extender tops is machine made / sewn and is sturdy.  The author, Yours truly has been wearing these amazing tops for over a year, and they have all held up beautifully. The compliments you will get are un-ending.

These tops are so versatile, because you can wear them out during the day as an extension or lengthening lengthener top.  They are fun to wear to the pool or the beach as a cover up too. Lastly, they make a wonder night gown for bed time :}   The tops are approximately 32 and 33" long, made of a cotton/poly blend so they are not hot feeling when layered.

STYLE TIPS:  These lace tank tops COMPLETELY cover the bottom, your bum. The lace embroidery is really pretty and discreet for those too tight leggings. This is the perfect solution for when you want to wear leggings or skinny jeans to the office or school, out for the evening. Pair it up with those leggings and a cardi,or a tunic don't forget the long necklace, a tassel perhaps? Shoes:  Flats or boots are the proper footwear for work / office look, avoid wearing heels because that is more of a night out look.  Make sure the necklace is 28" to 32" so that it hangs in the right spot (below bra line and just about a the naval.)

Another form of lace making is called needle lace and it is the  most time consuming form,  but the is also the most flexible method of  lace-making art, so the needle lace making  is regarded by a  purist / lace snob   as the uppermost echelon  the art of of lace-making.  There are many types of needle lace made using a needle and thread.  Some of these laces can be made much more quickly than the finest of bobbin laces.   On the other hand, some antique needle lace is made from a very fine thread that is no longer available or manufactured now.

Free standing lace is a modern technology whereby an embroidery equipped sewing machine makes the design, and the end result is a "patch" "shape" that can be held in your hand and is not attached to anything.  It is the sames on both side, front and back.  It is made with several important detailed requirements such as a size 11  75/11 very sharp sewing needle, so that it will make smaller holes in the stabilizer fabric.  After this free standing design is stitched out on the Dissolving stabilizer (looks like saran wrap), the "patch of lace is soaked in water, and the clear stabilizer simply melts away, leaving you with your bonded threads shaped like a lace pattern.
